Assignee of record; Acknowledgment of assignment of judgment<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">(a)\u2002An assignee of a right represented by a judgment may become an assignee of record by filing with the clerk of the court which entered the judgment an acknowledgment of assignment of judgment.<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p>(b)\u2002An acknowledgment of assignment of judgment shall contain all of the following:<\/p>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">(1)\u2002The title of the court where the judgment is entered and the cause and number of the action.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\n<p>(2)\u2002The date of entry of the judgment and of any renewals of the judgment and where entered in the records of the court.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\n<p>(3)\u2002The name and address of the judgment creditor and name and last known address of the judgment debtor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\n<p>(4)\u2002A statement describing the right represented by the judgment that is assigned to the assignee.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\n<p>(5)\u2002The name and address of the assignee.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p>(c)\u2002The acknowledgment of assignment of judgment shall be:<\/p>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">(1)\u2002Made in the manner of an acknowledgment of a conveyance of real property.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\n<p>(2)\u2002Executed and acknowledged by the judgment creditor or by the prior assignee of record if there is one.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p>(d)\u2002This section is in addition to, and does not limit or restrict, any other means by which an assignee may become an assignee of record.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br class=\"avia-permanent-lb\" \/><br class=\"avia-permanent-lb\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/crowdsourcelawyers.com\/\">CrowdSourceLawyers.com<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":7,"featured_media":0,"parent":2019,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-2312","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
