Penalty for drawing or exhibiting laser scope that projects target<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">(a)\u2002Every person who, except in self-defense, <span class=\"added-material\">aims or points<\/span>\u00a0a laser scope, as defined in subdivision (b),\u00a0<span class=\"added-material\">or a laser pointer, as defined in subdivision (c), at another<\/span>\u00a0person\u00a0<span class=\"added-material\">in a threatening manner<\/span>\u00a0with the specific intent to cause a reasonable person\u00a0fear of bodily harm is guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by imprisonment in a county jail for up to 30 days. \u2002For purposes of this section, the laser scope need not be attached to a firearm.<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p>(b)\u2002As used in this section, \u201c<span class=\"wordphrase\">laser scope<\/span>\u201d means a portable battery-powered device capable of being attached to a firearm and capable of projecting a laser light on objects at a distance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p><span class=\"added-material\">(c)\u2002As used in this section, \u201c<span class=\"wordphrase\">laser pointer<\/span>\u201d means any hand held laser beam device or demonstration laser product that emits a single point of light amplified by the stimulated emission of radiation that is visible to the human eye.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br class=\"avia-permanent-lb\" \/><br class=\"avia-permanent-lb\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/crowdsourcelawyers.com\/\">CrowdSourceLawyers.com<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":9,"featured_media":0,"parent":2019,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-2798","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
