class=\"subsection\">(a)\u2002Upon any conviction of a violation of <span class=\"cite\">Section 23152\u00a0<\/span>or\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">23153\u00a0<\/span>, any judge of the court may order a presentence investigation to determine whether a person convicted of the violation would benefit from one or more education, training, or treatment programs, and the court may order suitable education, training, or treatment for the person, in addition to imposing any penalties required by this code.<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p>(b)\u2002In determining whether to require, as a condition of probation, the participation in a program pursuant to\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">subdivision (b) of Section 23538\u00a0<\/span>,\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">subdivision (b) of Section 23542\u00a0<\/span>,\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">subdivision (b) of Section 23548\u00a0<\/span>,\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">subdivision (b) of Section 23552\u00a0<\/span>,\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">subdivision (b) of Section 23556\u00a0<\/span>,\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">subdivision (b) of Section 23562\u00a0<\/span>, or\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">subdivision (b) of Section 23568\u00a0<\/span>, the court may consider any relevant information about the person made available pursuant to a presentence investigation, which is permitted but not required by subdivision (a), or other screening procedure. \u2002<span class=\"added-material\">That<\/span>\u00a0information shall\u00a0<span class=\"added-material\">not<\/span>\u00a0be furnished to the court\u00a0by any person who also provides services in a privately operated, approved program or who has any direct interest in a privately operated, approved program. \u2002In addition, the court shall obtain from the Department of Motor Vehicles a copy of the person&#8217;s driving record to determine whether the person is eligible to participate in an approved program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p>(c)\u2002The Judicial Council shall adopt a standard form for use by all courts, defendants, and alcohol or drug education programs in certifying to the court that the person has\u00a0<span class=\"added-material\">achieved both of the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span class=\"added-material\">(1)<\/span>\u2002Enrolled within the specified time period.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span class=\"added-material\">(2)<\/span>\u2002Successfully completed any program required by\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">Section 23538\u00a0<\/span>or\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">23556\u00a0<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><br class=\"avia-permanent-lb\" \/><br class=\"avia-permanent-lb\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a
