Parking in spaces designated for disabled persons<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row\">(a)\u2002A person who commits a violation of <span class=\"cite\">Section 22507.8\u00a0<\/span>is subject to either a civil notice of parking violation pursuant to Article 3 (commencing with\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">Section 40200\u00a0<\/span>)\u00a0<span class=\"added-material\">of Chapter 1 of Division 17<\/span>\u00a0or a criminal notice to appear.<\/p>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p>(b)\u2002If a notice to appear is issued and upon conviction of an infraction for a violation of\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">Section 22507.8\u00a0<\/span>, a person shall be punished as follows:<\/p>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">(1)\u2002A fine of not less than two hundred fifty dollars ($250) and not more than five hundred dollars ($500) for the first offense.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">(2)\u2002A fine of not less than five hundred dollars ($500) and not more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750) for the second offense.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">(3)\u2002A fine of not less than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750) and not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) for three or more offenses.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p>(c)\u2002The court may suspend the imposition of the fine if the person convicted possessed at the time of the offense, but failed to display, a valid special identification license plate issued pursuant to\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">Section 5007\u00a0<\/span>or a distinguishing placard issued pursuant to\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">Section 22511.55\u00a0<\/span>or\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">22511.59\u00a0<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p>(d)\u2002A fine imposed under this section may be paid in installments if the court determines that the defendant is unable to pay the entire amount in one payment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br class=\"avia-permanent-lb\" \/><br class=\"avia-permanent-lb\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/crowdsourcelawyers.com\/\">CrowdSourceLawyers.com<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":9,"featured_media":0,"parent":2019,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-4560","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
