Sec. 12132\u00a0<\/span>), and the federal rules and regulations adopted in implementation thereof, except that if the laws of this state prescribe stronger protections and prohibitions, the programs and activities subject to subdivision (a) shall be subject to the stronger protections and prohibitions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p><span class=\"added-material\">(c)\u2002The protected bases referenced<\/span>\u00a0in this section\u00a0have the same meanings as those terms are defined in\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">Section 12926\u00a0<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p><span class=\"added-material\">(d)\u2002The protected bases<\/span>\u00a0used in this section\u00a0<span class=\"added-material\">include<\/span>\u00a0a perception that a person has any of those characteristics or that the person is associated with a person who has, or is perceived to have, any of those characteristics.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br class=\"avia-permanent-lb\" \/><br class=\"avia-permanent-lb\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/crowdsourcelawyers.com\/\">CrowdSourceLawyers.com<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":7,"featured_media":0,"parent":2019,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-5092","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.5 -
