class=\"subsection\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p>(a)\u2002The party who prepares a notice of deposition shall give the notice to every other party who has appeared in the action. \u2002The deposition notice, or the accompanying proof of service, shall list all the parties or attorneys for parties on whom it is served.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p>(b)\u2002<span class=\"added-material\">If<\/span>, as defined in\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">subdivision (a) of Section 1985.3\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"added-material\">or\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">subdivision (a) of Section 1985.6\u00a0<\/span><\/span>, the party giving notice of the deposition is a subpoenaing party, and the deponent is a witness commanded by a deposition subpoena to produce personal records of a consumer\u00a0<span class=\"added-material\">or employment records of an employee<\/span>, the subpoenaing party shall serve on that consumer\u00a0<span class=\"added-material\">or employee<\/span>\u00a0all of the following:<\/p>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p>(1)\u2002A notice of the deposition.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p>(2)\u2002The notice of privacy rights specified in\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">subdivision (e) of Section 1985.3\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"added-material\">or<\/span>\u00a0in\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">subdivision (e) of Section 1985.6\u00a0<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p>(3)\u2002A copy of the deposition subpoena.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p>(c)\u2002If the attendance of the deponent is to be compelled by service of a deposition subpoena under Chapter 6 (commencing with\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">Section 2020.010\u00a0<\/span>), an identical copy of that subpoena shall be served with the deposition notice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br class=\"avia-permanent-lb\" \/><br
