Effect of failure to renew license<\/h2>\n<div class=\"subsection\">A person who fails to renew his or her license within three years after its expiration may not renew it, and it may not be restored, reissued, or reinstated thereafter, but that person may apply for and obtain a new license if he or she meets all of the following requirements:<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p>(a)\u2002Has not committed any acts or crimes constituting grounds for denial of licensure under Division 1.5 (commencing with\u00a0<span class=\"cite\">Section 475\u00a0<\/span>).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p>(b)\u2002Takes and passes the examination, if any, which would be required of him or her if an initial application for licensure was being made, or otherwise establishes to the satisfaction of the\u00a0<span class=\"added-material\">board<\/span>\u00a0that, with due regard for the public interest, he or she is qualified to practice as an acupuncturist.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"subsection\">\n<p>(c)\u2002Pays all of the fees that would be required if an initial application for licensure was being made. \u2002The\u00a0<span class=\"added-material\">board<\/span>\u00a0may provide for the waiver or refund of all or any part of an examination fee in those cases in which a license is issued without an examination pursuant to this section.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br class=\"avia-permanent-lb\" \/><br class=\"avia-permanent-lb\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/crowdsourcelawyers.com\/\">CrowdSourceLawyers.com<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":9,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-6481","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
