For example, 50\u201351 means the one-year interval between the fiftieth and fifty-first birthdays. <br class=\"avia-permanent-lb\" \/><br class=\"avia-permanent-lb\" \/><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"SS_Note\">\n<h2 class=\"SS_HideShowSection SS_Expandable\">Sources and Authority<\/h2>\n<div id=\"TRNotes_n_3\">\n<p><span class=\"SS_ListLabel\">\u2022<\/span><span class=\"SS_ListItemContent\">\u201cThe life expectancy of the deceased is a question of fact for the jury to decide, considering all relevant factors including the deceased\u2019s health, lifestyle and occupation. Life expectancy figures from mortality tables are admissible but are not conclusive. Here the jury was correctly told the figure given was not conclusive evidence of Charlene\u2019s life expectancy. It was merely \u2018a factor which you may consider,\u2019 along with the evidence of Charlene\u2019s health, habits, occupation and activities.\u201d (<span class=\"SS_it\" data-housestyle=\"EMPHASIS_it\">Allen v. It has been held, for example, that, absent mortality tables, the trier of fact may still approximate the life expectancy of a statutory beneficiary who appeared in court.\u201d (<span class=\"SS_it\" data-housestyle=\"EMPHASIS_it\">Francis v.
